Hey everyone, I'm Brooke! I am twenty years old, born in Canada, and grew up in the city of St. Catharines. I am currently a student attending Brock University's Goodman School of Business. I am in my third year of studies towards a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. My life after school is still a mystery to me, I don't really have a five-year plan figured out! Ideally, I would love to travel for a few months after graduation. Besides being a student, a few things I love are the outdoors, animals, fashion, interior design, fitness, movies, and of course, food. Put me on a campsite, with comfy clothes, and a box of pizza on a starry night, and I'm in my ideal happy place!Now that you know a bit about myself, I want to share with you the purpose of this blog I am creating and what you can expect from it. My blog is an educational blog that is part of an adult education course about digital contexts. I am taking this course as an elective towards my degree. Over the next twelve weeks I will be making weekly posts where I will share what I've learned from the course, along with insights of my own.
What I hope to accomplish most from this course is learning how to create and maintain a professional image of myself online. Today living in the digital age, I feel that having a professional online presence is a must. I hope this course will further my knowledge of what to and what not to include on my digital profiles because developing a positive image online is important to me. I look forward to sharing my thoughts with all of you!
